I live in Nepal Bal Ghar, I have lived here for 5½ years now.I am 16 years old and study in class 8. There are 3 members of my family, my mother, brother and me.

I am 12 years old. I live in Nepal Bal Ghar and study in class 3. My home place is Sifal. I don't have a mother or father. When I go home I stay with my sister, I have 4 sisters, one of them is younger than me.

My name is Sarmistha Shrestha

I am 6 years old, I have stayed here for 1 year. In my family there are my grandmother, aunti and one smaller brother. I have no parents and I can't remember my village's name.

I live in Nepal Bal Ghar, I study in 4th grade. I am 11 years old. I have been here since 3 years, I have brother, mother, sister and father, I have a happy family. I have my uncle also. My brother's name is Bishnu Karki. My sisters name is Kabita Karki, My mothers name is Samjana Karki, My fathers name is Tanka Bahadur Karki. 

My family lives in village, but my uncle lives in Kathmandu. I have my grandfather. He is 62 years old and also grandmother. She is is 60 years old. They also live in village. My village 
is east from Kathmandu near Mt. Everest.

My name is Surendra Tamang.

I am 11 years old, it has been 3 months that I have stayed here in Nepal Bal Ghar. I have father, mother, elder sister and an older brother and a younger brother in my family.

I am 16 years old, I have stayed in Nepal Bal Ghar for 2 years. I have mother and father, but they are divorced. I also have 3 smaller brothers. I study in grade 5.

My name is Sarita Rumba and I'm 11 years old. I study in class 5 and has been with Nepal Bal Ghar for 5 years now. I like play volleyball. 

My family has 8 members, my one sister, Sharmilla also lives here.

I am Sabitri Thapa.

I am 14 years old, I came here 3 years ago. I study in class 5. I have a father, mother, one older brother, on younger brother and one older sister in my family. 

I am from Owkhaldhunga.

My name is Anish Buddhathoki. 

I am 6 years old, I stay in Nepal Bal Ghar from july 2002. I have a mother, but no father. I have no brothers or sisters, I am alone in my family.

My name is Rita Dangol. I am 13 years old. Now I live in Nepal Bal Ghar, I like it here. I have stayed here for 2 years. I go to class 5. I have got 2 sisters, one who is older and one who is younger. I also have one brother, he is older than me. And I have both my father and mother. My father drives a Tempu (større auto rickshaw, som er Nepal's svar på HT) and my mother is house wife.

I am Binod Kumar Shrestha from Nepal Bal Ghar (Children's home).

I am 15 years old. I come from Kalimati (Tankeshar). I study in class 7, I love to study and palying football. I want to be a great player of Nepal. I like to enjoy time with my friends. I don't have any family in my life. 

I am alone. I stay with my uncle and aunti they are so nice. They have 2 daughters and one son. I have to study hard because I have to make it in my life. When I joined Nepal Bal Ghar I thought it is good for my future life. I have stayed here for almost 5½ years.

My name is Nhukesh Maharjan.

I am 16 years old, I have stayed here for 4 years. I study in class 7. I don't have a mother or father, when I go home I stay with my uncle and aunt. My home place is Kirtipur, I don't have any brothers or sisters.

I am Sharmilla Rana Magar. I am 9 years old. I live in Nepal Bal Ghar. I read in class 3, I have stayed here for one year. I have one sister, her name is Pinkey (se nedenfor). I have my father and a brother. My father's job is to build houses and my brothers job is to paint them. I also have uncle and aunti.

I love my family, but I want to stay here.

My name is Pinkey Thapa Magar. I am 13 years old and has been living at Nepal Bal Ghar for 4 years now. My sister, Sharmilla also lives here. I love my family and my friends. I want to be a dancer, because I'm very good at it.

I am 12 years old and have stayed here for 3 years. I am in grade 4 and I like Nepal Bal Ghar. My family lives in Sunar Gaue, they are my mother, Amuna, and 3 sisters, Pooja, Rubina and Monika.

I am 8 years old, it has been 1½ years since I came here. I have a mother but no father and one older and one younger sister.

I am Suku Dolma Lama

I am 12 years old. My family have 8 members, my mothers name is Urgan, my fathers name is Subash and my sisters name is Urma Dolma. I have 4 brothers, 2 bigger they are Temba and Nima and 2 smaller they are Shahadev and Tenzin. 

I ahve stayed in Nepal Bal Ghar for 5 years, I have many friends in Nepal Bal Ghar. My family lives in Chabiel and our village name is Sinduchoke.

My name is Prabha

I am 9 years old, and I have stayed here for 2 years. I have my family also, they stay in Baneswor, they are my father, mother, sister and brother, they are very nice. My fathers name is Ujjal, my mothers name is Vina, my sisters name is Prabhina and my brothers name is Pramod. 

I am in grade 3, I like my class, its very nice.

Hello, I am Hom and from Darjeeling, it lies to the west of Kathmandu and can be seen from Chitwan and Pokhara. My family has 4 members, my mother, 2 brothers and a sister in law. I have been here for 5 years and enjoys it. I'm now in class 7 and for the past 3 years I have been no. 1 in my class (with Binod as no. 2). 

I want to be a doctor, I don't know if this is possible or not but will try my best. If I become a doctor, I can help the nepalese people and children, thats my dream.

Hello I am Sharmilla Rumba. 

When I came here I was 8 years old now I'm 13. And studies in class 5. I come from Kulakhani. My smaller sister Sarita also stays here and is also in class 5. Another sister is Shanti, she is a nun and lives in Palung, she has many friends there. My bigger brother is Raju, he's in class 9 but lives in our village. Another brother is  Rajkumar, he's in class 1 and also in our village. I also have a another smaller sister, Sabitha but she is still vary small. My mothers name is Mankumari, she working hard in our village, because I have no father.

I came here 3 years ago. I am in class 5, I have a family, mother, father and sister. My sister Rita also stays here.

Hello, I am Mamata Gurung. 

I am 15 years old, I come from Polpa and I study in class 6 now. I have already stayed at Nepal Bal Ghar for 3 years now. 

I have mother, father and one brother. My village is Silkhan.

I am very happy to stay in Nepal Bal Ghar, I am enjoying my friends and the didi's. Here are so many nice dai's and didi's who loves us. My mother works at people's houses, she gets 5 hundred rupees for the work. 

I have an uncle, he is my mothers brother, he is helping us also, I haven't seen my father since I was 10 years old. Also my mothers big sister is helping, she loves me so much.

I am 15 years old. I am studying in grade 9. It has been almost 5½ years since I came to Nepal Bal Ghar. I have father, mother and 1 younger sister in my family.

I am the oldest boy at Nepal Bal Ghar and I have been here for 5½ years (since the beginning). I am 17 years old and I study in class 9. I live with my brother when I go home on holiday. I have 2 brothers and one sister and from a place called Pharping in Kathmandu. I enjoy staying in Nepal Bal Ghar.

I am 14 years old, I have stayed here for 2 years. I have a mother and a father. My mothers name is Daya Kumari and my fathers name is Indra Maharjan. 

I have 4 brothers and my home place is Kalimati, I study in grade 4 and I live in Nepal Bal Ghar.

I am 11 years old and I live in Nepal Bal Ghar. I have stayed here for 5½ years and I like it. I have a happy family, with mother, father, brothers and sister.

My village is very nice, it is called Gorkha and my family lives there. But my cousins are in Kathmandu. My mothers name is Doma Lama, my fathers name is Tsering Dorje Lama, my brothers name is Phurbu Chhewang Lama and my sisters name is Tasi Lama.

I come from Dhobighat, I am 16 years old and study in class 8 now. I have already stayed here for 5½ years. I couldn't walk properly like other children, when I was born my legs were 
bent and ny hips not straight. Now I can walk nicely. 

I have a father and a stepmother. I have my real mother also, but she went with another 
man, when I was 4 years old. I enjoy staying at Nepal Bal Ghar.

Hello, I'm Pemba Lama.

I am 10 years old, I study in class 4. There are 7 members in my family. They are my father, mother, two younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. 

I have been staying here for almost 5 years. I come from Gorkha. When I first came to Nepal Bal Ghar I met alot of friends and I saw Lars dai with long hair, when I saw Lars dai with long hair I was frightened. When I took bath in the morning I was crying and saying bad things in my own language. But I quickly found out that everything was going to be fine.

My name is Gopal Thapa.

I live in the Nepal Bal Ghar. I love my mother and father. 

I have stayed in Nepal Bal Ghar for 3 years. I also have 2 sisters ans 2 brothers, they live in Sanepa. My friends name is Tenzin Lama and Anil Thapa, Anil is my best friend. My fathers name is Hari Thapa.

Hello my name is Tenzin, I am 11 years old and goes to class 4. In my family there are 3, my mother, uncle and me. I came to Nepal Bal Ghar 6 years ago, right from the beginning. My best game is football and my best color is yellow. Best countries are Nepal, Denmark and China.

I am 12 years old. I have been staying at Nepal Bal Ghar for 2 years. Here I have friends and I like to write, read and play games. 

I don't have a mother or father. Now I live with my grandfather and uncle. Now I am in grade 4. I am happy to stay in Nepal Bal Ghar, sometimes in school holidays I go to see my grandfather.

I am nine years old. I have a stepmother and my fathers name is Kamel Timalsina, I also have 2 sisters and a grandmother, she is very nice to me. In village I have some friends dadi and dai I'm missing them.

I am 14 years old. I have stayed here for 2 years, I have mother but no father. I have two elder brothers and one older sister in my family. I am the youngest member of my family. 

I come from Chitwan.

I am Milan Syangtang Tamang. 

I am 15 years old, I come from a village called Shreepur. My home lies west of Kathmandu. My father and mother are farmers. They live in village with my 2 younger sisters and a brother. I have a grandfather and a grandmother too. 

When I left home I was 7 years old, I came to Kathmandu to work in a carpet factory with my aunt and uncle. But for 5 years now I have been staying in Nepal Bal Ghar (Children's home). I am studying in class 8. I love to play football and I also like painting. I would like to study in technical college after school. 

So this Bal ghar is helping me alot.

Hello I am Anitha Karki, I am 10 years old and has been with Nepal Bal Ghar for 3 years now. I like it here and like to go to school, I look forward to go to the outside school. I have a grandmother, but no parents.
